چکیده
Abstract Induction furnace slag (IFS) and quarry dust (QD) were reported as good materials in making ordinary concrete. Studies not done on utilizing IFS QD constituents of high-performance-self-compacting-concrete (HPSCC). This study aims at assessing the effects induction strength durability high-performance self-compacting Strength tests including compressive, flexural, split tensile, rebound hammer conducted HPSCC. Likewise, water absorption, total porosity electrical resistivity conducted. 0 % to 50 (at 10 intervals) replacement with Portland cement was used. Also, optimum content combined river sand. The results revealed an increment up 20 IFS, a rise 15.34 compressive over control. improved 60 16.86 These showed that can be used for production

Experimental Investigation on Self Compacting Concrete Using Quarry Dust
This study presents an experimental investigation on self-compacting concrete (SCC) with fine aggregate (sand) replacement of a Quarry Dust (QD) (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) and addition of mineral admixtures like Fly Ash (FA) and Silica Fume (SF) & chemical admixtures like super plasticizers (SP). After each mix preparation, 45 cubes specimens and 45 cylinders specimens are cast and cured. The sp...
متن کاملUltra High Performance Self Compacting Concrete
Experiences in the development of Ultra High Performance Concrete found a very high flowability in concrete with low water powder ratio. Because of the high viscosity of the cement paste, compaction was necessary. To improve the compaction characteristics of the concrete the idea of adding coarse aggregate was developed. The first tests showed a good workability of the fresh concrete and a good...
متن کاملDurability Performance of Self Compacting Concrete Incorporating Alccofine and Fly Ash
The cost associated with the application of large volume of cement and synthetic admixtures was one of the major drawbacks of Self Compacting Concrete (SCC), which can be reduced by the use of supplementary cementitious materials (SCM). When the demand of cement reduces, the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) from cement industries will come down, which has a positive impact on global w...

This paper describes a review of the potential use of High Strength Incorporating Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag and Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete used in construction industry to improve the structural strength and reduce steel reinforcements requirements. Blast furnace slag (GGBS) has been used as a supplementary material along with the cement. It helps in increasing the durability an...
متن کاملPREDICTION OF COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH AND DURABILITY OF HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE BY ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS
Neural networks have recently been widely used to model some of the human activities in many areas of civil engineering applications. In the present paper, artificial neural networks (ANN) for predicting compressive strength of cubes and durability of concrete containing metakaolin with fly ash and silica fume with fly ash are developed at the age of 3, 7, 28, 56 and 90 days. For building these...
